When the mist rises over the fields in the morning and the leaves turn yellow, orange and red, it's time for pumpkins. This week we are celebrating THE product of the season.
What could be more sustainable than buying locally and seasonally? That's why we're serving a dish with lots of seasonal ingredients today: pumpkin wrapped in pumpkinseeds, potato gratin with crème frâiche from Bern-based company New Roots and rocket with pears.
Today we cook "Chügeli-Pastetli". Probably the most famous dish from the Canton of Lucerne. It's a vol-au-vent with a creamy mushroom sauce and sausage-meatballs.
